Solution to Worm Castings
Tea Seed Meal 3-0-1 is a natural organic fertilizer in pellet form
derived from processed tea seed oil meal. In contains protein
nitrogen, organic fiber, and is a rich source of antioxidants.
3-0-1
In 2009 the Sports Turf Research Institute rated earthworms the
#1 problem about which they receive queries. Camellia Tea
seed meal contains a high amount of saponin, a detergent-like
irritant to the worm s mucus membrane.
How Does it Work?
Tea Seed Meal, a natural byproduct of tea oil manufacture
containing natural surfactants called saponins, is effective for
expelling earthworms and suppressing casting on playing
surfaces. The mode of action is similar to that of mowrah meal,
a mainstay for managing earthworms on golf courses a century
ago.
